Career

Head of Tax and head of Accountancy Law at GA_P.

Enrique belongs to the Superior Corps of State Tax Inspectors since 1986, currently on leave of absence. In the area of taxation, he has held a range of positions in the Regional Offices of the Spanish Tax Agency in Vigo and Valencia, the National Inspection Office and the Tax Collection Department. He has focused his career in the accounting area, starting at the Accounting an Auditing Institute (ICAC in its Spanish acronym) where he held the position of Deputy Director General for Standardization and Accounting Techniques. He entered the Technical Department of Deloitte, where advised on the changes required for compliance with the IASB regulations adopted in Europe.

Professional Memberships

Member of the ICAC Consultative Committee on Accounting and was part of the Expert Group appointed by the ICAC to undertake the reform of the Spanish General Accounting Standards

Chairman of the AECA (Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration) Commission of Accounting Standards and Principles

In the international arena, he belongs to the IASB’s Private Entities Working Group Members.
