Practice Areas

Elma Veledar Arifagić is a Partner at dmb partners with over 20 years of experience in legal consulting. Her practice is centred on dispute resolution, employment and data protection, with additional strength in civil, commercial, constitutional and regulatory matters. She regularly represents domestic and international clients before courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and, where appropriate, before the European Court of Human Rights. Before joining dmb partners, she served for more than six years in the Office of the Agent of Bosnia and Herzegovina before the ECtHR in Strasbourg. Elma also advises employers on employment litigation, reorganisations, internal acts and disciplinary matters. She is one of the founders of the Employment Law School, a regular lecturer, the Editor-in-Chief of Pravna hronika, and a certified tutor within the Council of Europe’s HELP Programme.
