Adv. Ella Tevet is a renowned expert in the fields of intellectual property, information technology, privacy protection and artificial intelligence.

Ella has extensive experience in complex commercial and technological transactions involving significant intellectual property aspects, such as licensing agreements, software agreements, source code escrow agreements, R&D agreements, international consortium agreements, agreements for development and integration of various technology systems in core corporate systems (including ERP, CRM), and more. She also has significant experience in advising clients who received grants from the Israel Innovation Authority in a variety of proceedings vis-à-vis the Authority.

In addition, Ella is an experienced expert in the privacy protection field in Israel, Europe and the U.S., and advises clients on related regulatory matters (such as, Israeli privacy protection law and GDPR compliance projects and with respect to database management); data security (including counsel on cyber events and data breaches, before, after and during an event); and commercial transactions involving privacy and data protection aspects; as well as represents clients in various proceedings before the Israel Privacy Protection Authority. Ella also serves as Co-Head of the Privacy Protection Committee of the Israel Bar Association.

Ella has extensive experience and knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence, including relating to machine learning applications and Generative AI tools. She advises her clients in the framework of the development, use and implementation of AI based technologies, with an emphasis on the protection of intellectual property rights and trade secrets and compliance with the evolving regulatory requirements in the AI field alongside the existing regulation in the field of privacy, information technology and cyber. In addition, Ella specializes in formulating internal mechanisms of accountability and AI governance, and also advises regarding the use of artificial intelligence tools in the workplace, including by formulating Ethical AI internal policies for organizations. In addition, she advises clients within the framework of complex commercial agreements involving artificial intelligence issues.

Ella and her team work closely with the firm’s other departments on investment rounds, M&As and IPOs, both with respect to the conduct of intellectual property, privacy and commercial due diligence and with respect to other strategic intellectual property issues inherent in these transactions. She also represents clients in trademark registration and handles procedures vis-à-vis the Israeli Trademark Registrar, and represents clients in various legal proceedings in the fields of intellectual property, privacy and spam law in co-operation with the firm's litigation departments.

The department led by Ella Tevet is ranked as one of Israel's best departments in the field of commercial intellectual property and privacy by international rankings such as Chambers and The Legal 500, as well as the local rankings BDICode and Dun's 100. Ella herself is personally recognized as one of Israel's top lawyers in these fields.
