Partner since 1986, David Hodak has been a key player in the high-tech arena in Israel for the past 35 years.
David advises clients on the structure of complex commercial transactions, public offerings of stocks and bonds, tax and finance, both in Israel and abroad.
David advises governmental agencies with respect to privatization and debt financing.
David also leads the GKH China practice and has excellent working relationships in China and Hong Kong.
Following the last global crisis, David Hodak was appointed by the Israeli Ministry of Finance as the chairman of the Committee to Determine Parameters for Consideration by Institutional Investors (insurance companies, pension funds, provident funds) in the debt market (the “Hodak Committee”) in 2009. He was a member of the Israel Securities Authority Committee on the Structure and Content of Annual Reports and Prospectuses (the “Barnea Committee”) in 2001 and he served as a member of the Israel Securities Authority Committee on the Encouragement of Venture Capital in Israel of 1994 (the “Vardi Committee”).
