Elizabeth is a dispute resolution Partner in HFW’s Melbourne and Hong Kong offices. She specialises in shipping law (wet and dry), international trade, contentious insolvency, commercial litigation, cross-border fraud, and asset tracing and enforcement.
Elizabeth has considerable international arbitration experience as counsel in Hong Kong, London, Australia, and Singapore. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and sits as an arbitrator. Advising a broad range of clients across the Asia Pacific region, Elizabeth acts for shipowners and charterers, IG P&I Clubs, commercial insurers, banks and financiers, family offices and privately held companies.
Elizabeth is a past President of WISTA’s Hong Kong chapter, and a former mentor with Women in Law Hong Kong. She is a regular trainer for BIMCO’s Bill of Lading and Time Charterparties Masterclasses, and is a contributing editor for the 3rd edition of Maritime Law and Practice in Hong Kong (Sweet and Maxwell).
