Elizabeth specialises in employment, discrimination and trade union law. Her work ranges from pre-action advice and mediation to litigation in the tribunal and civil courts.
She has particular expertise in sex discrimination, sexual harassment and equal pay cases, representing claimants in high profile individual and national group actions.
Elizabeth’s clients include the senior officers and management teams of some of the UK’s largest unions.
Career
Elizabeth worked as a solicitor before transferring to the bar in 2005. She worked at a law centre and out of chambers before moving to Leigh Day in 2009 - 2016 as an employed barrister and in-house counsel.
Elizabeth was Head of Employment at Trade Union law firm, Pattinson & Brewer between 2016 – 2019.
She re-joined Leigh Day in 2020.
