Ms. Tosaris has more than 30 years of experience assisting clients on a broad range of insurance regulatory issues. She regularly serves as counsel to insurers and other Department of Insurance regulated entities doing business in California and beyond. Her work includes applications for mergers and acquisitions, licenses and holding company filings, and advice on achieving compliance with insurance statutes and regulations, obtaining approval of rate filings, implementing claims and underwriting procedures, and developing marketing strategies. She has worked in the Insurtech space and also with electronic privacy issues. Elizabeth has particular experience in responding to market conduct examinations, including resolving issues arising out of those exams.
