Eleanor negotiates and advises on commercial contracts, complex technology, software and telecoms arrangements and intellectual property exploitation.
Alongside technology and IP, Eleanor advises on data protection compliance and has experience supporting clients with cross-border transfers of personal data, compliance health check projects and managing high-profile security breaches. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and in June 2015 was awarded IAPP’s CIPP/E accreditation in European privacy law and practice.
Eleanor has spent time on secondment with a number of clients (both virtually and in-house) including with a global publishing group, a M4 ‘Silicon Corridor’ software client and the UK’s largest mobile telecoms company, EE. She regularly presents on IP and data protection issues and is a contributor to the firm’s marketinglaw blog and IP newsletter.
Eleanor has a LL.M in International Business Law through the University of London International Programmes. She trained at Osborne Clarke and qualified in 2011.
