Dionysis is specialised in all types of financing arrangements, securitisations and bond issues. He has extensive experience in advising on the sale and servicing of non-performing secured and unsecured loans and cards portfolios, and the licensing and operation of servicing platforms. Dionysis advises on asset, project, real estate, ship, leveraged and structured finance transactions and has developed an expertise in advising leading national and international credit and financial institutions on complex banking regulatory compliance issues. He has experience in financial restructurings, rehabilitations and insolvency proceedings. He is a Visiting Professor on Civil and Financial Services Law at Athens University (Economics Department) and teaches a programme on NPLs at a Greek credit institution. Dionysis is a member of the Bank of Greece and Hellenic Capital Markets Commission’s Examination Committee for the provision of investment services certification under Law 4514/2018 (MiFID II). He is currently advising Apollo Global Management in respect of the acquisition by a consortium of Apollo funds and IFC of a mixed pool of c€1bn NPLs and c€56m repossessed real estate assets from the Alpha Bank group.
