Diana is an attorney whose corporate/commercial transactional practice focuses on commercial real estate, banking and finance, environmental law and M&A. Prior to joining KRB, she was a Partner at a top-tier Canadian law firm.
She has been providing strategic advice to clients for nearly two decades with respect to their secured lending and commercial real estate transactions with regards to a variety of asset classes, including industrial, commercial and multi-residential, as well as in various industry sectors including manufacturing, pulp and paper and renewal energy. Diana’s banking and finance practice focuses on real estate lending, acquisition financing and the financing of the commercial operations of her clients via traditional and asset-based lending structures. Her real estate practice focuses on acquisition, divestiture, development, redevelopment and repositioning of real estate assets, and on the negotiation of complex leasing matters.
Diana’s clients appreciate her practical approach to risk management in a transactional context. She has key experience in advising her clients with regards to environmental, transactional and compliance risk and regularly advises on matters relating to brownfields liability and redevelopment.
Diana’s corporate/commercial practice centers around structuring joint ventures, partnerships, co-ownerships and other business relationships for her real estate and other corporate clients and drafting and negotiating their commercial agreements.
