Career
Chris Karambatsos is a Partner in KRB’s Business Law group. He specializes in finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, commercial partnerships and special projects. He is the founder of KRB and leads the domestic and global initiatives of the firm.
Recognized nationally as a leader across diverse areas of practice (including in Chambers, Best Lawyers and Lexpert), Mr. Karambatsos is known for providing clients with differentiated insight, sophisticated value-add business and legal counsel, and disciplined execution across a broad range of domestic and international transactions, including in connection with U.S. cross-border M&A and Canada law advisory services to foreign entities.
In addition to managing an active practice, Mr. Karambatsos is closely involved in the management of firm operations, including business development and growth strategy. He has played a critical role in establishing KRB as one of the fastest growing law firms in Canada both provincially and nationally (The Globe & Mail, L’actualité, Canadian Business), with offices in three major Canadian cities.
Outside of his role at KRB, he supports more than thirty non-profit organizations, including the Montreal Children’s Hospital, and is the former President and current member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal (HBOT).
