Partner and head of litigation. Extensive practice acting on behalf of individuals, Trade Unions and Professional Associations. Main areas of practice include aviation accidents, work related accidents, disease cases and complex injury/jurisdictional cases. Has represented the Pilots Union, BALPA for over 30 years. Has represented clients throughout the world in 23 aircrash cases including Malaysian Airlines MH17 and Shoreham cases. Was appointed lead negotiator in the Norwegian Helicopter Accident at Turoy which settled in 2021. Currently representing Kenyan Tea Pickers injured on Tea Plantations in Kenya owned by a Scottish company. Appointed as Chairman to the War Pensions Appeals Tribunal Scotland in 2019.
