David Hurtado Badiola

International trade ( including antidumping and countervailing duties), customs law, competition & antitrust, commercial law and foreign investment regulations.

Mr. Hurtado has been partner of JDV for 25 years, with vast experience in international trade, economic competition and administrative law, mainly, in which he is nationally and internationally recognized. He has an outstanding experience advising a wide variety of industries, including: pharmaceutical, automotive, farming, food & beverages and electronics, among others). Mr. Hurtado has a Law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico City and an L.L.M from the University of Texas. He is listed in the roster of Mexican Panelist of NAFTA.

Mr Hurtado is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados), the National Association of Corporate Counsels (Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa), the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, A.C. ( Chairman of its Trade Policy Committee, 2008- 2016), Vice President of the Committee on Trade and Investment and member of the Board of the International Chamber of Commerce (Mexico) and Appleseed México, A.C. ( Chairman 2015-2018)
