Our International Trade Practice has in-depth knowledge and vast experience in every aspect of International Trade and Customs, from Litigation, Market Access, Trade Policy, Multilateral and Bilateral Trade Agreements, to Preferential Trade Regimes, Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance and Trade Remedies. We are one of the most active and experienced Law firms in Antidumping, Countervailing Duty Procedures and Trade Agreements, having represented exporters, importers and petitioners in numerous investigations involving multiple companies exporting to and from Mexico.

We have effectively developed strategies to access markets using exports and imports incentives, mainly in Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Consumer Care, Agricultural and Food Industry.  Additionally, we represented many clients in all aspects of Customs and Trade Regulations and Domestic Disputes such as Rules of Origin, Tariff Classification, Customs Valuation among others.

The team participated in the Mexican proposal designs for the negotiations of the former USMCA (North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)) and has advised many clients on issues related to this important commercial Treaty.

JDV represents many national and multinational companies such as Senders Farms, Bayer Corporation, Mount Vernon Mills, American Standard and Schwab among others.
