David is a specialist in construction, engineering and process engineering law, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters and professional negligence.
He regularly appears in the High Court and TCC, and acts for numerous clients in arbitrations, court proceedings relating to arbitrations, adjudications, adjudication enforcement proceedings and mediations/ADR. He is adept at the provision of early case assessment and advice.

Before qualifying as a solicitor David worked for many years in the construction, engineering and process engineering industries as a quantity surveyor, project manager and costs control manager on a wide variety of projects throughout the UK, Ireland and the USA.
He is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), Chartered Builder (MCIOB) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
David has acted for a wide variety of clients including international and domestic employers, developers, local authorities, consultants, major, medium and small contractors and specialist sub-contractors, individuals and insurers.
