Served as lead bankruptcy counsel for the indenture trustee for the sewer warrants in the bankruptcy of Jefferson County, Alabama and represented the indenture trustee for the water and sewer bonds in the City of Detroit bankruptcy, the two largest municipal bankruptcies in U.S. history. Former board member and president of the MidSouth Commercial Law Institute. Immediate past chair of the firm’s Financial Services Department, and former Practice Group Leader of the Finance and Restructuring Group. Former Managing Partner for Practice Management for the firm. Licensed in Tennessee.
