Jesse S. Vogtle Jr.

For more than 30 years, Jesse Vogtle has earned the trust of debtors and financial institutions who value his ability to deliver comprehensive and efficient solutions to complex Chapter 11 commercial bankruptcy problems.

Vogtle has additional areas of focus, including advising banks on core bank operating contracts, vendor agreements and loan workouts. His practice also includes advising public entities on the creation and related economic development of industrial parks. In addition, he represents Chapter 11 debtors, including clients in the coal industry.

He has litigated and protected the interests of clients in state, federal and bankruptcy courts across the country. His experience also includes advocating for clients in arbitration, mediation and multi-party financial disputes. Vogtle represents a range of clients in multiple sectors, including national, regional and community banks, commercial debtors, universities, public entities, medical research facilities, real estate developers, commercial landlords, and private equity and venture funds.

Prior to joining Waller, Jesse chaired the financial industries section of a Birmingham-based law firm. Jesse is recognized for his bankruptcy experience by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers.
