With three decades of experience as a trusted adviser to hospitals and healthcare providers throughout the country, David Summer has become a significant ally to his clients. David has counseled many clients in nearly all aspects of healthcare law, from issues involving day-to-day operations to advising boards of directors on strategy and policy. As a former business owner and hospital board member, he has a unique understanding of the issues facing healthcare clients.

David’s business acumen has been recognized by his partners, as he is currently serving his third term on the firm’s board of directors and is a former leader of the firm's Healthcare Practice Group. He is also an involved civic and community leader and has served on the board of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
