D Jean Veta

Jean Veta defends financial institutions and their officers and directors in civil and regulatory enforcement matters, government investigations, internal corporate investigations, and congressional investigations. Ms. Veta represents clients on the full range of regulatory enforcement issues, including consumer protection, safety and soundness, anti-money laundering, and lending discrimination. She regularly appears before the federal bank regulators, the CFPB, FinCEN, the Department of Justice, the SEC, and state attorneys general and bank regulators. Ms. Veta was selected “Litigator of the Week” by The Am Law Litigation Daily and was named Washington’s Lawyer of the Year in Banking Litigation in Best Lawyers. Ms. Veta maintains an active pro bono practice focused primarily on LGBT+ issues and women's reproductive health issues.
