Claudio has a 35 year career working in the field of public law mostly from a private practice. However, his experience and knowledge in all field regarding the Public Administration, makes him a recurrent consultant of the Public Administration, especially for complicated tasks. One of such tasks was developing the figure of the "Interesado" or Interested Manager which served to overcome something that at that time appeared impossible.

His experience has been mostly in the field of finding the right mechanisms and legal instruments to achieve solutions that work both, for private entities and for the Public Administration, acting always in strict adherence to our Legal Framework.

He serves as the President of the Costa Rican Competition Authority. He has served as lead legal counsel for different projects for the President of Costa Rica, Ministry of Public Works, Civil Aviation Office, National Concessions Council, Execution Unit of the Infrastructure Transport Program.

From a private side, he has been part of some of the largest Projects in the country in the fields of highways, airports, telecommunications, ports, railroads. He is also especially passionate about Private Public Partnerships, and working together with the state to find solutions for public problems.

Besides his knowledge and experience, his peers and clients recognize his accesibility, kindness and especially his work ethic.
