His experience includes the Lehman Waterfall litigation, the Deutsche Bank v Sebastian litigation, global tax investigations, FCA investigations into financial crime and cyber/resilience issues and FX, equities, bonds, gilts and other market conduct issues, defending insurers in high value coverage disputes and providing strategic advice in relation to Covid-19 and Ukraine related matters

Career

Christopher has been a partner at Freshfields since 2013 and acted as head of its financial disputes practice from 2019 to 2023. He currently chairs the firm's global Risk committee.

Christopher was a member of the editorial panel for ‘Financial Services: Investigations & Enforcement' and is the author of the enforcement chapter in Bloomsbury's ‘Financial Services Law Guide’.
