Christopher has 30 years’ experience as an international commercial disputes partner handling litigation, arbitration and investigations. He represents clients in the energy, financial services, telecoms, PE, consumer and general industry sectors. He also has in depth experience of corporate disputes with a particular focus on shareholder and joint venture disputes. He works closely with other members of the Freshfields transactions groups. He builds long-term trusted client relationships and his clients include Chevron, CNOOC, ConocoPhillips, Eclairs, Eni, EY, Hutchison Whampoa, Tesco, Total and VTB. Christopher is also the firm’s Global Risk Partner.

Career

Christopher qualified in 1983, made partner in 1991 and was firm’s head of disputes 2009-2015.
