Represents sponsors, PE funds, infrastructure funds and sovereign wealth funds in infrastructure and natural resources investments, including significant M&A, joint ventures, and project development and financings. Also counsels clients with respect to matters related to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Recent work highlights include: Wren House Infrastructure Management, the global infrastructure investment manager owned by Kuwait Investment Authority, in a joint venture with QTS Realty Trust, a leading global data center services provider; Electrify America in the $450 million investment by Siemens; Ampliform and the Jones Family Office as the lead energy investor in a joint venture with Prospect14; Teck Resources and Compañía Minera Teck Quebrada Blanca in the project financing of the Quebrada Blanca copper project in Chile; Gateway Project; Wren House’s acquisition of i3 Broadband and a minority stake in Phoenix Tower International; a member of a Macquarie-led consortium in the purchase of Long Beach Container Terminal from Orient Overseas; CPPIB’s acquisition of stakes in Enbridge’s renewables portfolio and the Camisea gas pipeline; bond offerings for LatAm sovereigns.
