Coordinates S&C’s global infrastructure practice and its sovereign finance practice. Core member of the Firm’s Latin America team and is co-head of both its international trade & investment/CFIUS practice and its Africa practice.
Represents sponsors, PE funds, infrastructure funds and sovereign wealth funds in infrastructure and natural resources investments, including significant M&A, joint ventures, and project development and financings. Also counsels clients with respect to matters related to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Recent work highlights include: Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 financing; CPPIB’s acquisition of stakes Enbridge’s renewables portfolio and Camisea gas pipeline; Chicago Skyway 2016 acquisition; Pocahontas Parkway 2015 acquisition and 2016 sale; Cheniere Corpus Christi LNG financing; CIC Capital’s acquisition, as part of a consortium, of a stake in Petrobras’s gas pipeline unit; bond offerings for LatAm sovereigns.
