Christopher is an expert Licensing Lawyer dealing with matters under both the Licensing Act 2003 and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, Christopher has significant experience appearing before Committees, Boards and Courts across the country. Christopher deals with new licence applications, variations of licences and review applications. He also advises clients in connection with regulatory offences in the field of licensing.
Christopher is also a part of the Gaming team advising clients on the Gambling Act 2005, new remote and non-remote operating licences, and premises licences as well as regulatory offences and reviews.
Christopher qualified as a solicitor in 2002, joining a band 1 licensing firm in Newcastle in 2004. In 2007, he moved to John Gaunt & Partners and was promoted to a Partner of the firm in 2015.
