Christian Roschmann has over 28 years of experience advising clients on their most important cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and private equity investments in Brazil and abroad.

Christian´s vast international experience results from his stints at leading international law firms in New York, Singapore, Frankfurt and Munich. He has advised major clients such as 3i, Accor, BP, Brenntag, Bunge, Cofco, Evonik, GIC, Siemens, Syngenta, Temasek, ThyssenKrupp and Viacom on a range of high-end cross-border transactions and joint ventures with Brazilian counterparts. His expertise includes a variety of sectors ranging from agribusiness, automotive, entertainment, education, hospitality, industrials, life sciences and infrastructure.

Professional Memberships

Christian is vice president of the German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in São Paulo, senior commissioner for Brazil of the LAV – Association for Latin America (Lateinamerika Verein e.V.), program ambassador and member of the selection committee of the German Chancellor Fellowship Program organized by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Personal

Christian graduated in Brazilian law from USP (Universidade de São Paulo), in German law from LMU (University of Munich) and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kiel.
