Christian Roos co-heads Pestalozzi's Life Sciences Group and is member of the Employment & Pensions Group. His fields of expertise include international trade law, contracts and life sciences, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He supports clients in M&A transactions and in corporate restructurings and has indepth experience in employment matters namely mass dismissals, social plan negotiations, contract negotiations, restrictive covenants etc.
Christian Roos graduated from the University of Fribourg in 1990 (lic.iur.) and then worked as an assistant dealing with EC law in international public law. After spending two years with the law firm van Bael & Bellis in Brussels, he joined the Swiss Federal Office for International Economic Foreign Affairs and was involved in the bilateral negotiations between the EC and Switzerland. He joined Pestalozzi in 1996 and became partner in 2002.
