About

Provided by Pestalozzi

The Pestalozzi employment practice group draws on many years of wide-ranging experience to advise clients on virtually every aspect of Swiss law applicable to employment, labour, immigration and related issues. Our Employment practice group is fully integrated with the Corporate/M&A practice group. This allows us to advise our clients on a very broad range of employment related issues.

Clients choose Pestalozzi because we have built up a thorough understanding of Swiss employment rules and standards. We have established a successful practice for addressing all the main issues relevant to employment, labour and immigration. These include contracts, long-term incentive plans, bonus, share or option plans and employment issues arising during mergers and acquisitions. At operational level, we efficiently handle the domestic and cross-border transfer of employees, business restructuring, the termination of employment agreements, downsizing, outsourcing, and the closure of production lines as well as workforce restructuring and mass dismissals. We also cover the drafting of employment rules, policies and regulations, and help Swiss employers to obtain work and residence permits for foreign employees and their family members.

Our clients are mainly large domestic and foreign enterprises, whereby the international clients represent some of the largest companies in their industries.
