Alexandra Johnson has twenty years of experience in international arbitration. She has acted as counsel and arbitrator in over 50 international arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional (e.g. under the ICC, SCAI, LCIA, UNCITRAL and CAS Rules), in various matters such as oil and gas, construction and engineering, international joint venture agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, sale of goods, pharmaceutical, M&A and sport-related disputes.

Moreover, Alexandra Johnson frequently advises clients on Swiss contract law and represents parties in enforcement and setting aside proceedings before Swiss cantonal courts and before the Swiss Supreme Court. She also acts before state courts in cross-border disputes.

Alexandra Johnson is a Vice-President of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre. In addition, she is a Co-Chair of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) Geneva Local Group and a member of the ASA marketing committee, as well as Head Lecturer and member of the Academic Council of the Swiss Arbitration Academy. She also sits on the ADR Commission of the Geneva Bar Association. She regularly speaks and writes on international arbitration topics.
