Chen Xu is a corporate counsel and a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions and Special Situations Groups. His practice focuses on advising banking clients on a wide range of bank regulatory, policy and transactional matters, including in the areas of enhanced prudential standards, regulatory capital, liquidity and stress testing.
Mr. Xu joined the firm in 2013. He received a J.D. in 2013 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Mr. Xu received a B.A. with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley in 2010, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
