SAM NEWMAN represents companies and their owners in Chapter 11 cases—serving as debtor’s counsel for the Chapter 11 cases of ICON Aircraft, Inc.; Impel Pharmaceuticals; Tricida, Inc. (2023 Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year); and Wave Computing, Inc. (Information Technology Deal of the Year). He also represents clients in out-of-court restructurings—serving as lead counsel for Ventec Life Systems in its sale to ReactHealth (2022 Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year). Mr. Newman also advises technology, healthcare/life-sciences, real estate, and hospitality clients in a wide variety of transactions involving distressed assets. ”).
