Chaveewan has been a partner in the Bangkok office since 2006 and is a member of the Banking & Finance Practice Group. Her practice focuses on acquisitions, projects, real estate and corporate financing, infrastructure funds, REITs, general banking and finance, debt capital markets, and asset management. She also advises clients (financial institutions, large corporates, and tech companies) in relation to fintech, blockchain, ICOs and crypto asset matters, and was also involved in the first blockchain initiative project for Thailand's Blockchain Community Initiative (BCI).
Chaveewan’s strength lies in her detailed knowledge of Thailand’s debt capital markets. She has negotiated and drafted all types of complex financing and securities documentation for a wide range of high-profile projects for both syndicated lenders and borrowers. She has been involved in several bond and debt instrument offerings as well as infrastructure fund and REIT transactions in both local and international markets. The financial crisis in Thailand and global crises that occurred during her 20 years of practice also gave her the opportunity to work for creditors and debtors in asset management, non-performing loans, debt restructuring, and bankruptcy and rehabilitation proceedings. Her work for Thailand's top companies as well as top financial institutions has been recognized by several of the world's leading legal directories.
