Chuck Hodges focuses on federal tax litigation and cross-border tax disputes including transfer pricing. Chuck handles all aspects of an IRS controversy from audit through litigation. Chuck has handled more than 250 docketed cases against the IRS involving all areas of tax law, including partnership tax and transfer pricing. Chuck also assists U.S. taxpayers with navigating tax controversies abroad, working seamlessly with counsel in other countries. He has been involved in tax litigation cases in venues such as the U.S. Tax Court; U.S. Court of Federal Claims; U.S. District Courts throughout the country; and Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits. Chuck is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and the American College of Trusts & Estates Counsel (for tax litigation). Chuck also teaches Civil Tax Procedure as an adjunct professor at the LL.M. in Taxation Program at the University of Florida College of Law.
