Céline Poitras

Céline practices regulatory and commercial law with a focus on the technology, communications and media sectors. She helps telecommunications, data service, satellite, broadcasting and digital media companies navigate Canada’s communications regulatory regimes, and routinely advises in connection with licensing matters, regulatory proceedings, annual filings and other compliance obligations. She also provides strategic advice to clients seeking to anticipate and respond to changes in the Canadian communications regulatory landscape.

As part of her commercial practice, Céline handles complex commercial drafting work involving telecommunications, broadcasting and technology-related products and services. She also provides support to clients in the context of corporate transactions involving significant technology and communications assets.

In addition to her communications expertise, Céline advises clients in respect of a range of other regulatory matters, including in relation to privacy, consumer protection, accessibility and language requirements.
