Career

Cassio Mosse holds a Masters’ Degree (with distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London (UK), and Diplomas in Branding, Sports Law, and IP Management. He heads the firm MOSSE IP, Fashion & Social Media Law, advising clients in a wide range of sectors.

He has extensive experience with IP portfolio development, management, protection, and enforcement, both with domestic and international clients. Cassio Mosse is also highly skilled in the fashion and digital field, being known for creating and implementing “Social Media Law” concept in Brazil, representing some of the biggest names among the digital creators, and also assisting brands, advertisers, media platforms and vehicles in agreements and contractual law.

He is a guest lecturer and speaker in many universities and institutions both in Brazil and abroad, such as Universidad Austral (Argentina), Antwerp Management School (Belgium), Milano Fashion Institute (Italy), Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal) and University of London (UK).

Cassio Mosse is very active internationally, being an overseas member of Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys in the UK, where he also had work experience at EIP.

Experience

He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he was selected to serve the Law Firm Committee. More recently, Cassio Mosse was invited to also become a member of the Young Professionals Advisory Group (YPAG) at INTA, a group that advises INTA’s CEO and directors and provide guidance, recommendations, and insights relevant to younger generations. Such nomination recognizes his efforts and participation in INTA’s activities and events and gives him the opportunity to help shaping the future of the association.  

Besides being a speaker in events related to fashion law, social media law and IP law, Cassio Mosse is author of books, the last one (‘Social Media Law’, published by Thomson Reuters) being launched in early 2022.
