Caroline is a partner in our Dispute Resolution team. She has over 16 years’ experience in advising clients on high profile commercial and contractual disputes.
She specialises in banking and finance disputes; professional negligence claims, particularly on behalf of lenders against surveyors and solicitors; and complex contract and misrepresentation claims. She has extensive experience in advising financial institutions, including traditional and specialist lenders, and regularly advises on cross-border issues.
Caroline has a particular focus on the strategic management of multi-claims litigation, having advised both claimants and defendants in dealing with large portfolios of high value, linked claims.
She has been ranked in Chambers & Partners since 2023, recognised as a Legal 500 Rising Star 2021 – 2024, and is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.

High profile contract claims: Leading a very high value (£hundreds of millions) portfolio of high profile contract claims concerning the supply of goods, including advice on contract interpretation, misrepresentation and insolvency.
Reputation-critical claims: Managing and advising on the defence of a £multi million portfolio of reputation-critical claims in misrepresentation and contract.
International financial services business: Advising on the recovery of funds held with a fintech provider, including advice on contentious insolvency and fraud issues.
Specialist lender: Advising in respect of linked claims in negligence against a leading law firm and a well-known surveyor in relation to advice given in respect of a commercial property taken as security for a multi-million pound loan.
Private bank: Advising on complex, sensitive fraud and insolvency issues.
