Practice Areas
Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky represents multinational companies and sovereign governments in investor-state and commercial arbitrations, with emphasis on disputes arising in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors. He also frequently represents litigants before U.S. courts, including in matters involving award and judgment enforcement, international discovery, sovereign immunities and cross-border asset recovery, and counsels clients on responding to other complex cross-border challenges.
Carlos has acted in arbitrations under the rules of International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre (BVIIAC), among others.
