With over 25 years of experience, Carlos has represented issuers and underwriters in all matters relating to domestic and cross-border (144A/Reg. S) capital markets transactions, including equity, hybrids and debt offerings listed both on regulated markets and MTFs, such as IPOs, privatizations, private placements, rights offerings, exchange offers, ABOs, block trades, securitization bonds, commercial paper and EMTN programs. He also advises on regulatory matters related to capital markets and throughout his career, he participated in securitizations, domestic and cross-border project development & finance transactions, M&A, public tender offers, syndicated lending and other corporate finance structures.
Partner in the Capital Markets Group. Before joining the firm in 2002, he worked for several years at the New York and Paris offices of the U.S. international firm Shearman & Sterling (currently A&O Shearman).
