Ramón's practice mainly focuses on the banking and financial services sectors. He has notable expertise in civil claims and is also able to advise clients on related commercial litigation. He specializes in corporate restructuring processes, advising large companies and financial institutions on pre-bankruptcy restructuring plans and insolvency proceedings.
Ramón also provides regular advice on corporate matters related to directors' liability.
Career
Head Partner of the Litigation, Arbitration, and Bankruptcy department. Ramón joined Ramón y Cajal in September 1999 as a Junior Lawyer and became a partner in 2009. Deputy Director.

Publications
He has published various articles on the new Spanish regulation regarding pre-pack reorganizations. Since September 2024, he has been leading the Observatory on Restructuring and Insolvency at ICADE, which, in addition to organizing seminars, promotes publications. He has published articles in the specialist bankruptcy law journal Revista de Derecho Concursal y Paraconcursal. He also writes opinion pieces for online media and print press. He frequently participates as a speaker and moderator in seminars on litigation and insolvency matters.
Personal
Ramón is a recognized professor at ICADE in the double master's program in law and legal practice. He also serves as a member of the Master’s Thesis Tribunal.
