Carlos has been a commercial lawyer since 2009. He began his professional career in the Cuatrecasas law firm in the Corporate and M&A Division. He later formed part of the legal team of Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, S.A., afterwards joining the Teka Group as internal legal advisor, where he became the Director of the Group's Legal Advisory Division. Prior to joining Lener, he was a business partner in a legal boutique focused on general legal advice for companies and large assets. He joined Lener at the end of 2022 as a Partner of the firm's Commercial Department.

He specialises in general and ongoing legal advice to companies, with special knowledge of Commercial and Civil Law, specifically garnering experience in Corporate Law (having held the position of secretary in different companies of national and international scope), Civil and Commercial Contracting Law, and transactions (M&A) both nationally and internationally. Much of his activity has focused on the industrial, technological, retail, and the tertiary sectors, assisting customers from both a general and a specific outlook in the commercial field.
