Bill Kleinman

Haynes Boone Partner Bill Kleinman focuses on private equity, strategic M&A, joint venture and technology. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs and divestitures, technology strategic alliances and joint ventures, capital formation, technology contracting and corporate governance. His focus on finding reasonable solutions to gating issues gets deals done. Bill is also a member of the ABA's Task Force on Legal Project Management. Bill led the Haynes Boone deal team that was selected as the “Energy M&A Deal of the Year” (middle market) at the Global M&A Network, Americas 2019, and the “U.S.A. M&A Deal of the Year” award at the Global M&A Network, Americas Awards 2018. With a degree in engineering, Bill has a broad understanding of the science and technology that drive today's most innovative companies. So in addition to his PE and M&A practice, Bill helps companies implement technology intensive business strategies and transactions that turn their technology advantage into competitive advantage. He also assists general counsel and corporations that have robust legal needs by coordinating service delivery, project management and budgeting across all sections of the firm.
