Bev advises a significant number of asset finance clients, particularly motor vehicle finance companies, on their regulated and unregulated products. Since 2020 Bev has been providing support to LBG's motor finance division, comprising the Black Horse and Lex Autolease brands, on a virtual secondment basis.

As the motor finance market becomes more heavily focused on the provision of electric vehicles, she has advised clients on the impact of funding electric vehicles and EV chargers, and in particular assisted various clients in establishing salary sacrifice schemes. Shehas also acquired new clients this year who are promoting "subscription" products as a means of funding such vehicles on a cost effective and flexible basis for customers, all of which is heavily regulated under the FCA umbrella.

Bev is currently heavily involved in assisting her clients in ensuring their documentation, systems and processes are compliant with the Consumer Duty requirements and has spoken at industry events on the topic.

Bev is a partner in the Banking and Finance team and heads up the corporate division in the Firm.

With 20 years' experience in the asset finance sector, Bev advises clients on a wide range of asset and invoice finance arrangements including equipment leasing, receivables finance, asset based lending, stock finance and vendor finance. Bev and her team provide legal advice to clients funding a variety of assets from plant and machinery, vehicles, HGVs, ships and aircraft to invoices and receivables.
