Our Consumer Finance team is one of the strongest finance practices among independent Scottish firms.
The only Scottish based firm advising clearing and challenger banks on consumer finance throughout the UK. We are retained along with, or in competition with, Hogan Lovells, Addleshaw Goddard and Eversheds Sutherland, the other firms who have mainstream practices in this area.
We act for magic and silver circle firms as their own retained consumer credit counsel where they don't have that expertise in-house. We have an impressive list of referral firms.
We continue to advise clients on compliance with FCA regulatory regimes, and particularly consumer credit, mortgage regulation and unfair contract terms under the Consumer Rights Act.
