Bethany Sanders

Bethany specialises in high value serious injury claims, including brain and spinal injury, amputee claims and fatal accidents. She only acts for claimants and has represented many individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries, working with them to ensure rehabilitation is in place as soon as possible. Bethany has extensive experience of representing clients whose injuries arise from road traffic collisions, such as pedestrians and cyclists, as well as accidents at work and public/occupiers liability claims. She has worked on numerous cases where there are complex liability issues or contributory negligence allegations. She also has significant experience of representing clients who lack mental capacity or where capacity is in issue and works closely with deputies and professional trustees where appointed.

Upon qualification in July 2008 Bethany worked at Irwin Mitchell before joining Leigh Day in November 2013. She became an Associate in 2016 and a Partner in 2020.

Bethany is an accredited Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and is also an APIL accredited Brain Injury Specialist.
