Founding partner of Freitas Ferraz, Bernardo co-heads the Corporate and M&A practice. He is experienced in negotiating, structuring, and implementing M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, mutual investment funds, private equity, and venture capital deals. Bernardo also provides advice on cross-border investments and capital markets regulation.

He often represents domestic and foreign clients from sectors such as infrastructure and transportation, banking, healthcare, metals & mining, utilities & alternative energy, real estate, technology, construction and engineering, retail, and education.

Bernardo taught “Business Law” at the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG (2012-2013), and “Capital Markets” (2013-2016) and "M&A and transactions" (2021) at IBMEC/MG.
