Career

Ben Lang has a wealth of experience advising Japanese and international clients on cross-border transactions. Having practiced for more than 20 years in Tokyo and New York, Ben has advised on a wide variety of strategic and commercial transactions, including public and private M&A, divestitures, spin-outs, joint ventures, and other investments. He has a particular focus on the life sciences industry, where Ben also handles international co-development, licensing, distribution, and other arrangements and provides guidance to international clients on market entry and clinical trials in Japan. In addition, he has substantial experience working with financial institutions and energy industries in Japan.
