Azeezah is ingenious, brilliant and possesses strong analytical skills. She is a part of the firm's corporate finance group, and has worked on several capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate restructuring transactions. Her other areas of expertise include: taxation, consumer protection and competition.

Azeezah has advised on numerous domestic and international capital market transactions, has led various transaction teams on a number of ‘first of their kind’ transactions in the Nigerian Capital Market and advised on numerous corporate engagements.. Some of her transactional experience include:

(a) Leading the team that advised Dangote Flour Mills Plc in connection with a scheme of arrangement between Dangote Flour Mills Plc and the holders of its ordinary shares pursuant to which, Olam International Limited acquired all the outstanding issued shares of the Company not held by Crown Flour Mills Limited, its subsidiary;

(b) Co-leading the team that advised MTN Nigeria Communications Plc (“MTNN”) in connection with the listing of MTNN’s ordinary shares on the Premium Board of the Nigerian Stock Exchange; and

(c) Advised NSP-SPV PowerCorp PLC in connection with the establishment of a Fifty Billion Naira Bonds Issuance Programme and the subsequent issuance of the series 1 bonds thereunder (The First Corporate Green Bonds in Nigeria).

Azeezah participates in some of the reforms of the Nigerian Capital Market and was a member of the committee responsible for drafting the Rules and Regulation for E-Public Offers in Nigeria.
