Asaf’s practice concentrates in the field of Telecom and Media corporations, which encompasses representation of leading International and Israeli corporations along with individuals in the Telecom and Media industry.

Asaf’s experience includes involvement in a wide range of regulatory aspects; involvement in complex commercial transactions, such as various procurement, development, licensing, software support and corporate finance transactions; involvement in telecommunications related disputes, including representation before the Israeli Supreme Court; and ongoing commercial advising.

Asaf’s expertise also includes additional litigation experience in varied and complex commercial and civil disputes before Israeli courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation procedures.

Notable representations include:

• Representation of a prominent global media and technology company with respect to its multi-billion bidding for the acquisition of the assets of a large American multinational mass media corporation.

• Representation of the only satellite television services provider in Israel, in connection with a wide range of regulatory aspects and complexed TMT oriented procurement transactions.

• Representation of Israel’s biggest telecom operator with regard to a dividend distribution by way of capital reduction, and with regard to related legal proceedings (including proceeding which were an important milestone in the development of the Israeli corporate law due to the Supreme Court’s unprecedented official ‘adoption’ of general principle of the ‘Delawarean Business Judgment Rule’).

• Representation of an Israeli cellular operator and its shareholders in regulatory and litigation proceedings which accompanied the sale of 100% of such operator’s shares.
