Ofer Fleischer is a Partner at Gornitzky & Co.

Ofer’s main field of expertise is commercial litigation, with a focus on the corporate and capital markets fields, the energy sector, class actions, derivative actions and start-up companies.

In addition, Ofer provides his clients with legal advice on ongoing corporate matters, as well as legal advice throughout various types of commercial transactions.

Corporate litigation and Capital Markets:

Ofer specializes in corporate litigation cases, both of national and international nature, in a variety of fields.

Ofer has extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex legal disputes and in handling conflicts between shareholders in private companies, in representing shareholders (in private as well as institutional entities) in activist actions against Israeli and foreign companies publicly traded in Israel, the US and Europe, as well as in representing public companies in defense against activist actions.

Litigation and Energy:

Ofer represents Israeli and foreign corporations operating in the energy sector (electricity, oil and gas) in litigation proceedings before various instances in the Israeli Court system, including in disputes with administrative authorities and regulators.

This includes, for example, the representation of public companies (Israeli and foreign) in disputes concerning the entitlement to overriding royalties from the “Tamar” gas field, representation of the royalty holders from a gas field in disputes concerning information rights, and representation of private electricity producers in various procedures (civil and administrative) concerning the establishment and/or operation of power plants.

Class actions and derivative actions:

Ofer has expertise and experience in representing clients in class-action and derivative-action proceedings on various issues, including, inter alia, banking and finance, capital markets, officers’ liability and interested-party transaction in public and private companies.
