Career

Michael has extensive experience in commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on labour law-related litigation and administrative matters. He serves as the Chairman of the Labour Law Legislative Committee of the Israeli Bar Association.

Michael represents companies and high-level management in high profile, large-scale disputes before all Israeli courts, including labour courts, as well as high profile arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Michael also advises leading public and private Israeli companies regarding the implementation of different aspects of labour law. He also advises senior executives on nominating committees, financial institutions and banks, and private firms in various industries.

Michael led the representation in all labour and employment matters in IFF’s purchase of Frutatrom – as of today, the second-largest deal in the Israeli market – including retirement agreements for key employees, consultation agreements and service provision, along with the handling of post-acquisition international cases concerning the employees. Michael was also the lead legal advisor of the nominating committee of Bank Hapoalim, which involved legal knowledge of labour law (senior wages), corporate law, and capital markets.
