Shlomo Cohen serves as head of GNY’s Real Estate, Construction, Planning, and Zoning practice since 2012.

Shlomo’s professional approach is based on uncompromising professionalism in all core aspects of real estate law, as reflected by the varied areas of activity in which he consults the largest, most central companies in the Israeli real estate market. His extensive and unique expertise and rich experience extends to real estate law, contract law, planning and construction, urban renewal, finance, real estate taxation, real estate litigation, representing clients in matters pertaining to the Israel Land Authority (“ILA”) and other public authorities, and more.

Shlomo’s legal counsel and advice encompass a wide range of legal services for GNY clients, including:

• Representation in extremely complex real estate transactions (regardless of zoning), including income-yielding commercial real estate and office space, residential real estate, hotels, and more. • Ongoing representation of and counsel for property-rich groups, such as Egged Group, the salt companies group and others.

• Representing clients in high-stakes matters pertaining to the Israel Land Authority on which Shlomo and his team have unique expertise. Such clients include Orot Yosef, Gav-Yam, the salt companies, many private companies and others.

• Ongoing representation and counsel for promoting outline planning and filing planning objections.
